A rapid-response healthcare concept offered by the Balati EMS healthcare network for people experiencing homelessness and opioid addiction.
The idea
Care that meets people where they are.
The proposed response team would be called by frontline organizations, provide emergency care, and arrange transportation to local hospitals when needed.
The program also outlines harm-reduction outreach on scooters, including overdose response, Narcan bags, and wound-care kits.
Project goals
Build the first wave of response.
